Northumberland Classic & Sports Car Show (Corbridge) 2022

 

I found this car show on Facebook a few weeks ago and thought if it was a fine day we would have a look through as it was only at Corbridge. Angus & Arran were both working so it was just me and Jane. We had not pre booked our tickets so just rocked up at the gate. We were going to park in the public car park but the bloke on the gate said he wanted us to park in the show field! It was £8.50 on the day and followed the marshals and got parked up. We had a wander around the stalls and picked up a few tools, bits n bobs then had an ice cream. The show field was set out very well and loads of space between the rows and between the cars. There was a great display of all types and ages of vehicles. There was food and drink vendors and most were very reasonably priced for a change. The club house was also open on the show field. 

Once we had a walk around most of the show we headed back to the car for dinner and a cuppa, it was red hot and sunny with no shade on the field. I decided to open the bonnet and the amount of people looking and asking about the car was unreal. We didn't even go to show the car. After that we finished walking around the show and headed home. We will defo go back next year, very well organised and a great day out.
