Todays loop was a shorter one taking in two of Co Durham's old railway lines. The first line was from Broompark to Crook then the road over the tops to Willington to pick up the Bishop Auckland to Broompark line at the Coop. The lines are still bone dry and dusty. We have still not had any rain despite the forecasters keep saying its going to rain. There was a few others out about about enjoying the mixed bag of weather from sun, cloud, overcast, wind and a few very fine spits of rain. Below are a few snaps from the ride. All in 17.25 miles with 1000ft of climbing. Enjoy and hopefully more soon-
Chain jumped off the front ring just before Brandon, oily fingers time! |
