*** Rd3 Tonight @ Hetton Lyons ***

Yes after a very busy first & second round we move onto Rd3.There is a new course for the U10,s and a new main course see post below for Garmin course details. Just a reminder that if you are a none member and you have completed a Day Member Form @ rd1 or 2 you DONT have to fill in another form now for the rest of the winter season. If you are a member you must take along your current 2013 Membership card. We have one member card left from last week, if you have an arm number please bring it back and we have also got a pair of glasses, send me a description and you can collect them from registration.
The forecast is looking warm and dry and Hetton has softened alittle in places but is still very fast under tyre. The grass has been cut shorter on the whole course as well. Tonights Results and Photos will be on this website asap after the race. We will leave a couple of days for any corrections then the updated League table will be posted in the Results Section. All the best and remeber to leave plenty time to allow for signing on and getting yourself ready, we cannot hold the start of races as the darkness is closing in fast now.

MBE Rd 2 Results etc

Another great turn out for Rd2 @ Hetton Lyons Country Park. We had fantastic weather and near perfect ground conditions so the riders were flying around the 1.40 mile course. On the night we had three excellent races with many a rider battling for positions. This week the course was run in the opposite direction anti clockwise to Rd1 with a few new sections added into the mix still giving a great mix of terrain. Again many thanks to all the riders  for feedback after the race which helps me plan future courses. The results are in the Results Section. Photos are also here in the gallery. The League table will be set up and loaded into the Results Section probably at the weekend to allow for any Results amendments. Next week there will be a new course for Rd3 Wed 28th Aug @ Hetton Lyons Country Park, more to follow inc the Garmin Course detail. All the best MBE.

Nutcracker / Sweat Monsters Rd6 Fremington

Yestreday was the Grand Final of this years Nutcracker MTB Series which was based at the Dales Bike Centre, Fremington. There was the Sweatmonsters at midday on a new course this year which was based in the far field running alongside the river. The kids were split up into there age cat's and all did a one lap time trial to start. Then there was the three main races based on the same course. There was some very close battles building up through all the age cats and some final positions were battled out on the last lap. There is a set of the full results and photos for yesterdays action are here.
All the riders set off at the same time from Dales Centre up in to the holding field where they were gridded into age cat's. I didnt do the fun cat this time but Angus did his race which was based on the full course inc the beast climb upto the edge. He did one lap and really enjoyed it on me Salsa Beargrease fat bike.
