Another sunny / muddy local ride up the Waskerley / C2C to Parkhead on the Creo SL E Bike

I did not manage to get all the way up the line to Parkhead on Monday due to the wind but today I did. Again there was a lovely overnight frost = some lovely winter sun. The lines were defrosted in many places which equals a very cold / wet / muddy slop fest on the lines. I went up the line to Parkhead with a gentle tailwind for a change but on the way back I dropped onto the road to re join the line at Whitehall then turned off the line again at the transformers to go over Pontop Pike. The lines and roads were a lot quieter today and hardly seen a sole all the way up. It was busier coming back down. 31 miles, 1600ft of climbing, ave 13.5mph, max speed down to 43mph as I had a headwind coming back down!
Enjoy some sunny / muddy pics below. There is also a short video clip at the end. Hopefully more soon -
