Today there was no sunrise when I was out on my hardtail mtb. The weather has gone back to normal- overcast and cloudy but on the plus side the wind has finally died down after nearly a week on battling with it. It was a early morning loop down to Durham, over to Maiden Castle, up and down The Trod and back around Durham then home via Frankland and The Sands. All in 13 miles with 650ft of climbing. There was very few people out n about at this time of morning so more or less had the tracks n trails to myself. Below are a few cold looking photos from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
Ps - Bishop Auckland Food Festival is on this weekend and the forecast is rain for 48 hours so that should be a good wash out!
Pss - also the Dirty Reiver is running at Kielder this Saturday and that will be a complete wash out, such a shame but the brake pad companies will be doing ok out of it!
