Local gravel loop in the sun and heat again

Well our summer in Durham is still lasting with another day of sun and heat but we have a lovely cool strong breeze again today. It was one of my regular loops taking the old railway line to Bishop Auckland then through Bishop to pick up the old railway line to Spenny then the back way through Tudhoe, Croxdale, Sunderland Bridge and up the hill back onto the Brandon line. Still no rain so the lines are bone dry, rock hard and dusty. There was a few others out n about but not many. With this loop you get a lot more shade from the trees etc along the lines so less direct sunlight. All in just over 19 miles with 800ft of climbing. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
