The rain has stopped, the sun has come out so I went out for a local offroad loop

 

Well what a week of rain. It has rained, rained and some more rain on top of the rain not to mention the wind! Where have the sharp winter frosts with some lovely winter sunshine gone? Anyway it has stopped raining and the sun finally come out today but the wind has not gone but it was too nice not to miss a quick blast out on the Creo gravel bike. I was thinking of hitting the roads but the strong winds put me off. The old railway lines were a better bet offering more protection from the wind but on the down side was the flooding and mud. To be honest the lines were in way better shape than I thought they would be. There was quite a few others out enjoying the dry spell before the next 12 hours of rain which is forecasted for tomorrow. It was one of my usual loops taking in the line to Bishop then over  to Spenny and back way to Brandon. Below are a few snaps from the ride, 1600ft of climbing and hopefully more to come soon-
