The weather was warmer today with the Garmin hovering around 0 degrees but there was no wind which made a massive difference. It was a quick blast as I did not have much time so one of my regular loops - Crook to Willington the road then on the line to Broompark then left and up the old railway line back to Crook. Some of the snowy sections have melted slightly but on the whole the ground is still frozen solid so nice and easy going. Just got to look out for the sheet ice sections. There was a good stretch of them coming out of Willington, just nip up onto the grass is safer option. There was not many others out today and only seen two other cyclists. There was just under 1100ft of climbing the 17 miles. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon if the weather holds out -
