We called in past the Findra store at Innerleithen when we were in the borders earlier in the year. It's the first time I have been in their shop and is well set out but very pricey! They have been going for quite a few years now and do men's as well as women's clothing. It's not just cycling now either, more outdoors wear. The quality and feel of the clothing looked spot on so thought I would try out some of their socks. At £16 I think this is probably the most expensive pair of socks I have ever bought in my life. They were going to have to be something special to justify the asking price and outperform every other pair of socks I own. I have worn them now for a few months for cycling - road and off road and they are fantastic. The fit and feel is unreal, they are so soft but not too stretchy. They feel cool in the heat when your feet are hot but also feel warm when its cooler. The ankle length is spot on for me, not too short or too long. There are no signs of wear to the soles or toe areas yet and have been washed numerous times. The socks come in three different designs from my plain ones to strips and herringbone pattern. They also come in loads of different colours but no plain black ones. They come in 4 different sizes bands ranging from 3 up to 13. My feet are around 8 to 8.5 size and ones I bought were 6-8.5 band size. I defo need any bigger and these may feel too big if you had size 6 feet. The rpp is steep but if you sign up for their newsletter you get a 10% discount code but if you're not local to the shop there is p & p to pay unless you are spending more than £90.
