Sunday morning local loop with Jane on the E Bikes

The sun was shining which was strange as the forecast said cloudy with a very good chance of rain all morning. We set off along the line to Broom Park then up to Waterhouses / Stanley Crook to drop down into Crook market place. The sun lasted all of 10 minutes and the Garmin was reading around 10 degrees. The line was nice and quiet, it was also bone dry, dusty and rock hard. The dark clouds had rolled over and kept getting spots of heavy rain on us but it held back.
Once at Crook we picked up the road to Willington to turn off left at the Coop and back to towards Broom Park. This stretch of old railway was slightly busier but not too bad.
