Sortig out NECCL CX stuff ready for the Winter 19 Series, wash n polish the Cube E mtb

Yes its that time of year again where I drag out "the blue tub" and sort through everything ready for the first round on Saturday 7th September @ Gallagher Park, Bedlington. NE22 7LA. .
Me and Arran sorted through both sets of numbers and there was only two missing, great news. On the negative side there was over 300+ safety pins missing! Just as well that I ordered a bag of a 1000 replacement safety pins. After nearly 2 hours mine and Arrans fingers were numb! I have also bought a hose reel and reeled on 2km of stronger barrier tape on it, white spray paint, additional rolls of barrier tape, radio kit (which just landed last night), more plastic posts/pegs and I have booked first aid cover for the whole of the 2019 season.
All this has been achievable without increasing the riders entry fees because Keith Taylor from UK Land Estates has sponsored the series this year. Many thanks must go to Keith and the company, PRESS RELEASE Graeme from GCS Medical Ltd will be providing the first aid cover and has helped out this season by reducing the fees so we can carry forward the first aid cover into 2020 season.

Since taking this photo me & Aran have knocked up a storage box for the new pegs.

Now onto the Cube Reaction E bike - I washed, dried and polished the bike. De coked the jockey wheels and lubricated the drivetrain. I also checked the chain for wear and its on 0.75mm. Brake pads are ok and adjusted the rear mech cable tension as it was dragging slightly on the up shifts. Recharged the battery and she is ready to rock n roll yet again.
