Saturday morning loop from Bishop to Brandon / Croxdale / Tudhoe / Spenny

Me and Jane were up and out early and we headed to Bishop in the van with the bikes in the back. We parked up and joined onto the old railway line to Brandon where we turned right and headed down the hill and under the viaduct. We then went the back way around Croxdale to pick up the country lane to Tudhoe Village. Once out at Spenny its a road section to pick up the old railway line from Spenny to Bishop. The lines were still damp in places and a lot busier this morning. We had no horses but loads of dog walkers, runners and other cyclists. Once at Bishop and through the tunnel we had to hump the bikes up the steps as the single track further down was over grown with nettles etc to get back onto the road. Down the big hill and dropped into the market place and straight into spoons for breakfast. It was a short ride through Bishop, over the viaduct and back to the van. 19 miles in 1hr 30 mins. A quick change of clothes, loaded the van up and off top Morrisons for food and fuel shopping. Below are some snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
