A dry / hot ride then turned into rain / cold local gravel ride on the Creo 1

Back out again on Co Durham's old railway lines. I had to drop Jane off at Bishop Auckland hospital so an ideal opportunity to do a quick loop on the bike before picking her back up. I parked at the car park on the other side of the viaduct and headed straight to the Brans Den where I turned right and down to Sunderland Bridge, up to Croxdale, the back lane to Tudhoe village then through Spenny and back onto the old railway line back to Bishop Auckland. It started off dry and warm, over 15 degrees but three miles from the end the heavens opened and it chucked down. The temperature dropped to less than 11 degrees so back to normal! There was a few others out n about inc Jim Teesdale (MTS). The council are also resurfacing the next part of the line from the old railway station platform to Spenny in gravel this time not tarmac. All in 19.5 miles in 1hr 20mins with 700ft of climbing Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
