Steady spin up the Lanchester Valley Way to Hownsgill / Whitehall n back

The weather has finally changed and we have some heat and dry weather now. I did not have long so had a steady spin up the old railway line from Lancheter to Consett / Hownsgill and Whitehall. At the picnic area / road crossing I turned and headed back down. It was mainly sunny when I left and the Garmin was reading nearly 21 degrees but the higher I was getting it clouded over and with the stiff breeze the temperature dropped down to 14 degrees. Either way the lines have started drying up lovely and I even had some dust on my forks when I finished. That has been a first for a very long time. I took the Creo 1 gravel with my 700c DT Swiss wheeelset and Gravelking tyres on. I have even took off the Ass Saver Win Wing! I could be tempting fait though! It was generally quiet so not too much slowing and speeding back up. Enjoy the few snaps below and hopefully more to come soon-
