A mainly gravel loop taking in two of County Durhams old railway lines.

What a difference 12 hours makes. I was sitting out the back of our house last night in the sun at 18 degrees and this morning the Garmin was reading less than 6 degrees. It was misty with heavy drizzle showers and some really cold wind chucked in for good measure. It was a quick loop taking in the old railway line to Bishop then through Bishop and onto the old railway line to Spenny then back over to Brandon to pick the line back up. The council have cleared the drainage ditches each side of the track coming out of Bishop again so hopefully there will be less flooding / puddles for a while. They have also started to replace all the missing fences along the Brandon - Willington section. It was really quiet first thing just a couple of dog walkers kicking about early doors. The lines are still wet and muddy in places. Below are a few snaps from the loop, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
