I fancied a day off from the bike so me & Jane had a drive through to Sunderland. We parked up at the Glass Centre and went for a walk along the coast / marina to Roker then along the beach to Seaburn. On the way back we took the top patch before dropping back down around the Marina and back to the Glass Centre. The weather was very mixed from light cloud to very black cloud to sun. I felt hot and muggy but no rain. We had a walk around the centre before heading back home. All in just under 5 miles 1hr 31mins. We had a delay coming back as the RNLI was lifting the two lifeboats out of the water and back into the station so they close the path for safety.
