A local loop on the E mtb enjoying the good weather.

Woke up to another sunny morning so jumped onto the bike for a n early morning spin down to Durham on the E mtb. The trails are still dry and dusty and even Houghall woods have dried up, well nearly. I managed to clear the middle of the woods steep climb to the Botanics which is normally ankle deep in sticky mud. Todays loop had a different return leg instead of doing the Trod / Finchale I popped over to the Crem / Merryoaks / Broompark / Baxsters Farm / back way to Whitesmokes / New College / The Carrs and then home. The weather was mainly sunny and warm. The Garmin was reading 18 degrees at 8am when I got back. There was hardly a single soul out and about apart from a few in Durham city centre. All in 14 miles with 900ft of climbing. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon. Probably not tomorrow as its forecast rain all day.
