Fresh Goods Sunday - Lezyne Strip Drive Pro 300 Rear LED Light

It has been quite a few years since I have bought any rear lights for my bikes. I have used the older Lezyne strip drive 150 for many years and never had any problems with them really but when on full flashing power sometimes it would go flat if I have them on all the time during a longer road ride. You have also got to make sure the rubber band is pushed right into the clip / brackets on the side of the light. I have lost one where I must have knocked the light and the rubber band had popped out of the clip.
Anyway it was Fathers day so the sons treated me to this newer version but twice as bright at 300 lumens. It is smaller in size, twice as bright and the battery lasts longer. The rubber band has not changed but the back of the plastic body has and there is an adaptor rubber thing for none round tubes. The light come in red or black body and also feels lighter in my hand, I have not put them on the scales. Charging is via the port under the rubber cap which is hinged. The older version the cap comes off completely (easily lost) and charges via a usb adaptor 3 pin plug. These are all plus points for the newer model. In use the power button scrolls through the numerous combinations of flashing and soild light. Not sure why anybody would want such a huge choice but. You turn the light off via the same power button. There is a very small led light which flashed green when charging on the side near the top.
RRP £52 and I paid £32.99 from ProbikeKit inc next day delivery
