Steady away spin on the gravel bike along the old railway lines

 


Well the sun has finally come back out here in Durham. If fact it was shining away yesterday evening and was a lovely finish to the end of the day. Todays ride was mainly on the old railway lines apart from one short road section through Crook then up and down to the Coop at Willington to pick up the line again. The lines are still damp and cool in the wooded / shaded sections from all the recent rain but they are starting to get dusty dry on the sections that are exposed to the sun. There was not that many other users out and it was lovely and quiet along a few sections. All in just over 25 miles with 1100ft of climbing.
