I have been after a new waterproof jacket for some time now but did not want a big, bulky, heavy one. I wanted something waterproof to a certain degree and not showerproof. I wanted it to be lightweight and packable. So when we were shopping at the toon a few weeks ago I called in past Cotswolds and went up stairs to Cycle Surgery and found this one hanging on the rail. I tried it on and felt spot on so a deal was done and bought it. I have worn it a few times when it has been heavy constant drizzle, cold & windy and the material defo keeps out the elements. I have also packed it away into its own rear pocket and took it out on a few rides in the back pocket for just in case weather! It does not pack down as much as a pertex but I would not expect it to. You can adjust the hem with two draw chords. The sleeve cuffs has Velcro strap adjustment. Thee is also a small chest pocket. There is reflective detail down both sides of the rear pocket and at the bottom of each sleeve. The only thing it does not have it an adjustable neck collar but it fits ok. Hopefully it wa last a long time just like all my other Gore bike clothing. The jacket comes in four colours - yellow, blue, red & black. The sizing is from small through to XXL.
