Sunday morning spin to Bishop n back inc weekly catch up

Me and Jane were up and out early on Sunday morning for a steady spin out to Bishop n back mainly along the old railway lines. It was real nippy first thing but the sun soon came out and it was a beautiful morning. We had a strong head wind all the way through but the lines were nice and quiet so got our heads down. Once we reached Bishop we headed for the market place to pop into spoons for a couple of cuppa's each and breakfast. On the way back we were flying along as we now had the tailwind! Again the lines were still very quiet for a Sunday morning. The tracks are bone dry as we have only had a couple of short rain showers this week.
Once back me and Angus serviced the van and his older Corsa, put the bikes back on charge, with the new charger (more on that below) then off to our Islays tea party for fun and games.

Well after my trip up to Kielder on Monday I was hoping to get out more on the bike but it just did not happen. I worked around the house etc for nearly 10 hours solid each day on Tues and Wednesday but did mange a 3hour 15 min hike on the Thursday. Friday come and I was shattered! Saturday I took Jane and her sister down to James Cook hospital to see their dad. I then went down to Stokesley for some shopping and called in past Westys to collect the replacement Bosch fast charger. I then back to the hospital to collect them and back home to clean the cooker / ovens. Then it was straight to Brandon to sort out Care Connect for Janes mum and dads bungalow, back home, cook the tea and collapsed!
