Spin around Hetton Lyons Country Park and surrounding areas

I was over in Sunderland today so called in past Hetton Lyons Country Park to see what has changed / happening. I had an explore around of the bank side of the park first and some tracks are still there off years ago but other have totally over grown and gone now. Nice to see most of the new singletrack through the woods is still mostly rideable. With some cutting back you could easily get a CX / mtb course planned. Then it was around the tarmac loop and off over to Mosley etc for a loop before coming back for a loop around the lake. The hut was open and the cafe has also reopened as it was closed the last time I was there. There is loads of glass and dog poo all over the trails around Hetton village so that has not changed. The weather just about kept dry for the ride. I was going to do an extra loop over the op / wind turbines but it just starting spitting heavy.
All in just under 12 miles in an hour with 800ft of climbing. Below are a few snaps from the loop and hopefully more soon-
