When I bought my DT Swiss 650b/27.5" rims I needed some tubeless rim tape so I could set them up tubeless after they had been built up into a wheelset. I had some spare tape from Hunt but not enough for a pair of wheels. I have not used tubeless tape very often as nearly all my wheels come pre built / oem on a bike with tape already fitted ready. You read some storey's of riders having a nightmare setting up / converting wheelsets into tubeless so it was going to be a Baptism of fire as they say. There is a huge range of rim tape on the market but at the end of the day they all do the same job, try and prevent air escaping through the nipple holes. I had a look at what Wiggle had in stock as it was easier to add it in with my rim order. Lifeline was at the lower end of the price scale and had the correct width in stock. It seemed to get good reviews so time to give it a whirl. You don't get much for your money, its just a roll of thick black pvc tape that is not too sticky. There was enough on the role for a pair of 27.5" rims with an overlap on the join and still some left on the roll. It comes off the roll very easy and easy to apply to the inner rim section. It is not very sticky so will be easy enough to remove it if it ever needs removing in the future. I fitted a pair of tyres with inner tubes to force the tape down and seat it onto the rim. I ordered a new pair of tubeless tyres but only one has landed so far, this has been fitted and set it up with Stan's. It has seated ok and there is no leakage of sealant from the nipple holes. It comes in a huge rage of widths so make sure you order the correct width before fitting. Time will tell how long the tape lasts, hopefully there will be no problems.
RRP £7.99 and I paid £6.99 from Wiggle inc next day delivery

We spent a lot of time trying to find a reliable, strong tubeless tape that doesn't break the bank, and after considerable testing we have the product.
