Yesterday was a horrible wet day so no biking but we did have to go to Chester Le street to sort out some banking / shopping then we had a spin up to the toon to return some faulty curtains we bought from Fenwicks and exchange one of Arrans Birthday presents. On the way back we called in past Machine Mart for some vat free shopping at Lobby Hill, more on that soon and Dobbies garden centre at Birtley, it was packed solid.
As for the today well the rain has gone and the sun was in and out all morning. No wind and it was quite warm in places. Me and Jane did a steady loop over to Crook via the old railway lines then dropped on the road from Crook to Willington to pick up the old railway lines back to Baxters Farm. All in just under 29 miles. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon.
