Up and out early again this morning for a ride through to Bishop Auckland via the old railway lines then through Bishop town centre to pick up the Auckland way to Spennymoor. Through Spenny / Tudhoe Grange / Croxdale / Sunderland Bridge then under the viaduct and the long climb back up to the Bransden / railway line and back. It was lovely and sunny but a freezing cold 20+mph headwind in places. Lines were mainly quiet and free of mud. all in 30 miles in 2 hours 18 mins with 1400ft of climbing.
