It has been a few days since I have been out on the bike so this morning I was up and out early for a regular route down to Durham then over to Maiden Castle, The Trod, back around Durham then home via Frankland / The Sands. It was lovely and quiet and only seen a couple of dog walkers. All the students were tucked in their flee pits as they are off. The weather was overcast / cloudy and still some wind. On the plus side it was a lot warmer - 7 degrees. The tracks n trails were muddy and wet on the top after yesterdays heavy rain. It is still firm under the sloppy top covering so reasonably fast going but my legs were just not feeling it today.
All in just under 15 miles in 1 hour 10 mins with 750ft of climbing. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
