A quick spin up the old railway lines to Consett & Waskerley Way in the warmth

Todays spin was a quick blast up the old railway line to Consett then turned left and over Hownsgill viaduct. I stopped and turned at Whitehall carpark and straight back down again. The sun was out on the way up and some of the way back down. It started off warm'ish but by the time I reached Consett the Garmin was reading 15 degrees! It was a lot cooler coming back down with a slight headwind. There was quite a few others out n about but there was also long sections of not a sole in sight. The lines are still running dry and fast with only a couple of puddles left which will soon dry out. Below are a few snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
All in just under 26 miles, ave speed 13.8mph and climbed 900ft.
