A lovely frosty / sunny gravel loop from Broompark

Well yet another frosty morning to wake up to and the sun blazing away here in Co Durham. I parked up at Broompark and went for a spin along the old railway line to Stanley Crook. The temperature on the Garmin dropped down to minus -2.2 degrees past Ushaw Moor. Once I was on the top is was a lot warmer and no wind. On the descent down to Crook I bumped into Lorraine Sharp so had a natter with her for a while before picking up the road section to Willington. At the Coop I turned left and picked up the old railway line all the way back to Broompark. The lines were lovely and quiet first thing before 6.30am. All in 17.5 miles in 1hr 20 min with 1000ft of climbing. Below are a couple of snaps from the ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
