Another snowy & very cold (-10 degrees) ride on the Salsa Beargrease Fat Bike

Might as well make the most of the snowy trails whilst the white stuff  is still frozen and crispy. So I took the Salsa Beargrease fat bike over to Broompark picnic area and set off along the old railway line to Ushaw Moor, Esh Winning then to the bottom of the bank that leads to Stanley Crook at the end of Waterhouses. I managed the climbs / clicks without walking but did not fancy the long last two climbs. The ride back was much faster and with more sun which made it a very pleasant ride indeed. The coldest the Garmin reached was minus -9.8 degrees. Only seen one other bike but quite a few dog walkers and a couple of runners. All in 11.25 miles in 1hr 16mins with only 400ft of climbing thank the lords! Below are some wintery photos, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
