First shake down ride on the Specialized Creo SL Comp Carbon Evo E Bike

Evans changed the direction of the dropper inner cable on Monday so last night I swapped a few parts over - USE Ti Sumo seat post, Selle Italia SLR saddle, Panaracer Gravelking SK 43c tyres, converted the wheels to tubeless, Sram mtb quick view Garmin mount, 2no carbon bottle cages, Altura seat pack, ass saver, Ritchey spd pedals, Garmin cadence sensor. I then greased every thread / nut / bolt on the bike as everything was bone dry. Charged up the battery and she was ready to rock n roll.
Today the sun was shinning again so I took the bike out for a quick shake down spin along the railway line to Bishop n back.
Very first impressions based on one short flat ride -
The standard Specialized bar tape is uncomfortable, thin and not very grippy - I am going to fit some Cannondale Synapse thicker / grippier bar tape.
The bell is not loud enough!
Shimano 1x11 GRX gears are very fast and smooth shifting.
The head shock, sorry Future Shock 2.0 was on all the time and could not feel it going up and down which is a good thing!
The motor has not got the same power / kick as my Bosch Active Line Plus.
The motor is smoother than any Bosch motor I have ridden.
The motor is more nosier than the Bosch Active line plus by a long way.
The charger cable end you plug into the frame is no where near a sold design like the Bosch cable / plug.
Changing power levels - goes up from one to two to three but when you press to come back down it dumps you back to one again. So if you want slightly less power when you are in three you cannot drop it down to two, you have to double click to go down to one then back up to two.
The power switch is on the top tube and not on the handle bars so you have to take your eyes off the track / road to adjust. Over time this might change if I learn where the switch is without looking.
There is no battery % level on the display but has bars of power.
The overall bike feels more like a standard bike than a e bike.
I covered 16 miles and one bar had been used. Over time I will be able to judge just how the range pans out.
Below are a few snaps from the sunny ride, enjoy and hopefully more soon -

Blinded by the sun light

It was that warm I only had my winter gloves so took them off

I would say 700x43c max for clearance off road

Metallic paintwork pops in the sun
