Walk around Whitby and a catch up

After another busy week we decided to have a day out at Whitby. The last time we went down was Sepetember! It was lovely and quiet and there was no hussel bussel. The weather kept dry but by god there was a freezing cold strong wind. We also climbed the steps to the Abbey, it was fresh at the top of the cliff! We had some chips from Magpie takeaway and sat in the band stand and watched the seagulls getting closer and closer.
On the way back we called in past Bike Scene and NGR Cycles with a hot choc from Greggs next door.
I have also set up the turbo trainer and been doing a minimum of 10 miles ever day that I don't go out on the bike.
Jane also received a letter in post for Virgin bank offering her £100 in compo so lets say "shit service" by two branches and the call centre.
Evans Cycles in Pity Me is closing next Friday if you did not know. The lads got their notice approx. 2 weeks before crimbo and most are stopping on until around the 25th to empty the shop etc. The lease had come up for renewal but the landlord was not too keen or giving Mr Ashley reduced / free rent! Shame as it was always handy for click n collect or calling in past for odds n sods.
Below are a few overcast snaps from Whitby, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
