Fresh Goods Sunday - Genuine Innovations AirChuck C02 Inflator Kit

I have been using this Co2 inflator head for alot if years now on many different bikes / sizes of tyres and tubes. I have used several different manufacturers and models but this AirChuck version is very lightweight, small and very easy to use. You screw in a cartridge, threaded type and push the head over the valve to release the Co2 into the tyre if you are running tubeless set up or into an inner tube. I only use it on presta tubes so cannot comment on how good or bad it is a schrader valves. If you dont want to use the full cartridge just pull the head away from the valve and the gas will stop. As with all Co2 canisters they freeze when releasing the gas so use gloves or put a cover over the canister. I have some rubber ones which I have used over the years and can reuse them onto the next cartridge. The rrp is the same as the last one I bought in 2016, not a cheap kit but the quality is fantastic. As ever shop around for some discount but Genuine Innovations is not a product stocked by alot of retailers. I am sure many moons ago they used to sell the heads separate but now come with one 16g and one 20g cartridge. 

On a separate note if you are running tubeless some manufacturers of sealants state do not use Co2 with their sealant. For example Stans which I use states it can be used in an emergency but must be let out at the end of the ride and replaced with regular air.
