Global warming by rear end- back to normal 16 degrees summer road ride - Pontop Pike & Burnhope transmitters

 


Well as forecasted its back to normal in the North East of England. It was 16 degrees on todays ride so back to my sleeveless base layer, short sleeved jersey and my gilet! There was also a strong even cooler wind which I had in face all the way out but enjoyed it as a tailwind mostly on the way back in. The roads were very busy in places, not sure why. It is most of the schools last day here in Co Durham. Some finished last week some finished every day this week so thought it might have been quieter but hey ho. I have posted a photo of the route at the bottom of the blog. All in 32.5 miles and climbed 2300ft.
