A break away to the Lakes and the Scottish Borders & some Fresh Good's

This was a bit of a last minute idea so we managed to book some accommodation for four nights / five days away. Day one we had a drive over to Keswick for a day in the red hot heat before heading back to Penrith for our first overnight. The second day we had a drive to Ambleside, still red hot and sunny then up to Reghed then Penrith for the rest of the day. After tea it was a drive up the M6 for our second night. The next day we went up to Carlisle then over the Border to Gretna Green before driving over to Cardona, between Peebles & Innerleithan for the next two nights accommodation. The next day we had a lovely cooler day around Peebles. On our last day we stopped at Innerleithan then over to Selkirk, crossing the border and back home.

Crossed the border on the A68 and a lovely drive back home

I also bought a couple of Fresh Goodies when we were away, socks from Findra and GIB grips from Ghyllside Cycles for the Cube e mtb.

Also before we went away my Assos parcel landed vey quickly from Switzerland. They were having a sale so thought I would start trying a few of there products. More on these in the up coming Fresh Goods Sundays.
