Week off and we have never stopped

Me and Jane are both off this week. I had an appointment down at Dryburn Hospital on Monday morning about my back which turns out to be a weak right bum muscle and weak left hip muscle which is causing my back pain. The Physio lad was fantastic and sussed it out within 5 minutes. Showed me a couple of exercises to regain strength in the two muscles which should ease my lower back pain. Then it was over to Shotley Bridge hospital for an appointment for Jane. From there we dropped down to BLT timber outside Bishop to collect more fencing for Angus's house.
We had a last minute overnighter booked at Berwick Upon Tweed at the Travelodge on Tues / Wed but got a call late afternoon saying something was up and we could not stop there! nearly a drive back home but they booked us in at the The Kings Arms Hotel in the town for the night instead. We also got a free breakfast each as compensation! Berwick was busy and a few new shops have opened up. Had a lovely walk around the walls after tea in the sunshine but during the day it was cloudy.
Yesterday I was fencing again around Angus's house and had a good clean up and another trip to the tip with more rubbish. After that it was jobs around our house for the rest of the day.
Today me and Jane had a walk down to Durham, around the river banks, over to Maiden Castle, back into Durham and home. The river banks were very quiet but the centre was busier. We called in past to see my cousin Hamish at The Keep Barbers, busy as ever. All in just under 6.5 miles in just over 2 hours with just under 500ft of climbing. Once back home again it was on with more jobs before we both go back to work on Monday morning.
A few photos below, not many as the camera battery went flat, enjoy and hopefully more soon-
