Sunday Morning Bishop offroad loop with Angus

After yesterdays morning snow covering and the rain through the night /early morning the trails were rather damp this morning. The old railway lines had some massive puddles and the single track sections through the woods are starting to soften up and plenty of mud as well. We both took the Cube E mtbs for a spin. Angus is bedding in his new one and I fitted a new seatpost to mine but feels like the saddle needs sliding back as I was too cramped up over the bars. I had several thorns etc in my tyres and the Stans was working a treat. Angus noticed one in the rear where the Stans was squirting out so had to keep going and it soon sealed up. As you can probably see by the photos below we had some lovely winter sunshine but when it clouded over it was real nippy. The temperature on the Garmin did not get over 2 degrees until after 2 hours in the saddle. There was very little wind which was nice but we had two heavy driving rain showers around Bishop area. The lines were not that busy for a Sunday. Overall we covered nearly 37 miles in 3 hours. Once back it was wash the bikes, clothes & body time. Enjoy the pics and hopefully more soon -
