Fresh Goods Sunday - Wolf Tooth B-RAD 2 Slot - Bottle Relocation

I was looking for a widget to move the bottle cage down on the Cube 19" E mtb down tube as you can just use a 500ml bottle, anything bigger and you cannot get it in and out of a normal cage. There are side entry cages but I like the normal top entry. I know there are a couple of manufacturers have  gadgets to do this to a certain degree but I came across this Wolf Tooth one when on holiday in the Lakes. Ghyllside Cycles have all three different models but I was just after the simple 2 slot version. It looks very well machined piece of anodised alu and when I came to fit it there was no problems at all. There are no instructions in the bag so had to go on line to work out which bolts went where as there are two different lengths and plastic washers. I did not need the washers as they are to space the gadget from the frame. The longer bolts go in the adaptor / frame mounts then the shorter bolts go through the cage into the adaptor. It is now much easier to get a 500ml in and out of the cage and I can also get a 750ml in. It does mean that I cannot use a second cage on the seat tube mounts though
RRP £18 and I paid £18

Manufacturers Blurb -
Bottle Relocation and Accessory Device. An innovative, flexible system for organizing on-bike bottle storage and accessories. The B-RAD system begins with a series of slotted Mounting Bases. Available in three sizes, B-RAD bases can shift a bottle cage away from inconvenient rear shocks, add room for tools or tubes below a bottle cage, or even provide space for a second bottle on sufficiently-long downtubes.
Next you can mount various B-RAD accessories to your B-RAD base or bases. The B-RAD accessories improve or optimize bottle cage locations, add water/tool/spare parts capacity, and there are many more accessories coming in the future
Bases are the foundation for the B-RAD system and the rest of the B-RAD system mounts to them
  • Reposition bottle cages using existing bottle cage mounts on your bike
  • Lightweight, durable, rust-proof materials
  • Customize storage to your specific needs with flexible B-RAD system
B-RAD 2
  • The 2-Slot Base can move bottle or other accessory to an optimal location even on a smaller or dual suspension frame
Compatibility:
  • Mounting any of the bases requires the use of at least 2 standard threaded bottle cage mounts. B-RAD 3 and 4 should use the auxiliary foam pad (to protect your frame) and zip tie to secure the base. Any other mounting methods are not recommended
  • You may need a Space Out Kit or similar method to clear the front derailleur clamp. Be sure to use bolts with additional length equivalent to the extra spacing added
  • Compatible with any frame that uses standard 64mm spacing bottle cage braze-ons (basically every modern frame)
  • Print this document in a 1-1 format to see how the different B-RAD mounting Bases fit on your bike.

B-RAD 3
  • The 3 slot base with 4 threaded holes provides additional adjustment and mounting options vs the B-RAD 2. A typical application would be to mount a bottle cage in the forward threaded holes with a B-RAD accessory tucked behind it. This mounts perfectly to triple bottle mounts on frames and forks. The B-RAD 3 includes zip ties, channels for the zip ties, and a foam pad for secure mounting
  • B-RAD 3 base instructions
B-RAD 4
  • The 4 slot base is the longest base with 9 threaded holes for the ultimate flexibility and capacity when bike packing, touring, commuting or just exploring on 2 wheels. It′s long enough to mount 2 small bottles inline or multiple accessories. The B-RAD 4 includes zip ties, channels for the zip ties, and a foam pad for secure mounting
  • B-RAD 4 base instructions
    DOGBONE
    • The Dogbone can be used to offset a bottle or other accessory to an optimal location. Most commonly used for smaller, curved or dual suspension frames
