Saturday morning ride to Bishop and back.

This mornings ride was a local loop spin over to Bishop Auckland and back mainly using the old railway lines. On the way through Jane called in past the cash point at Spenny for some Wonga then once we reached Bishop it was straight to the pie shop next to Inspiral Cycles. After a buying a bag full of freshly baked pies etc it was a short spin to the cafĂ© for two breakfast specials - Bacon or sausage butty or tea cake with tea of coffee £3! and it was beautiful. From there we headed over the viaduct and back towards Meadowfield. The lines were mainly quiet and was a beautiful cold morning with some good spells of sunshine. We only had rain / drizzle once and that was half way between Willington and Brancepth. We even stopped a couple of times to collect some concurs on the way back. Must be too early as they were tiny and not formed properly. Once we reached the Sports Centre we headed over the field to Infinity Cycles as Jane wanted to look for a Castelli short sleeved top in the sale. It poured down when Jane was in shopping but by the time Jane come out it dried up so we had a quick spin back before the heavens opened up again. Below are a few snaps, enjoy and hopefully more soon.
