Lazy'ish Saturday & two walks on Sunday + some bike tinkering

Saturday we had a drive through to Bishop Auckland as the Food Festival was on. It was no where near as good as last year but not too worry, we got what we wanted and we had a walk around the town as well whilst we were there. We also called in past Black & Decker/Dewalt Factory Outlet on the way home at Spenny and ended up spending well over £200! Once back home the sun was out so got on with a few jobs outside but soon the skies darkened and there was thunder but no rain. After tea we had a walk out and the heavens opened and we got a good soaking.
Today we had a walk for two hours doing some election work then we drove over to Low Shincliffe and got parked up. We had did another walk but with much better scenery this time. The footpaths are up the eyes in mud but not too sloppy. On the way back we called in past the garden centre cafĂ© for drinks and cakes. All in we covered nearly 8 miles this morning. Below are a few snap shots, enjoy and hopefully more soon -

Saturday pm I fitted the new 650b / 27.5" Bonti tyre on the front the Slate Apex. More on this is Fresh Goods Sunday soon and fitted some new Cannondale bar end plugs.

Then I also fitted a second bottle cage for a new 500ml storage bottle - again more on this in Fresh Goods Sunday soon.

I had to lift the bottle cage on the down tube as is was too close to the seat tube cage/bottle. Ideal for a spare second inner tube/ energy bar etc.
