Some Fresh Goodies - Brand-X Carbon Riser Handlebars & Peaty's Chris King Tubeless Valves MK2

 

As mentioned in my blog this morning I have bought a pair of carbon riser handlebars for my Trek Marlin+ e hardtail mtb. The front end feels too low for me with straight bars so I bought these Brand-X - 780mm wide x 25mm rise x 31.8mm dia, 240g, 9 degree back sweep & 6 degree up sweep from the CRC sale. The rrp is £99.99 and I paid £34.99 inc 48hr p&p. More on these in an upcoming Fresh Goods Sunday but for the money they look spot on. 

I also bought some new tubeless valves from Team Cycles a couple of weeks ago. I was browsing through there website and this colour and red were reduced from £29.99 to £2.00! in all three lengths so I ordered a pair in each size for £6. 

The flat bars are coming off and the new risers bars are going to be fitted, should not take too long. They will need cutting down as I don't like cowhorn wide bars.
