I have had my Specialized Creo's for some time now and one thing which I have never liked since the start of owning them is the battery charger end plug. It has two smaller pins and even smaller thinner brass pin. You have to be very careful when pushing in the charging cable into the port on the frame, it only goes one way and does not have a solid push in feeling. Due to the location of the port it is within the crank arm rotation area. I once knocked the crank arm around when it was charging and knocked the end of the charging cable and bent the mega thin pin. This is the reason I had to buy another charger. Luckily it did not snap off inside the port. Compared to all my Bosch chargers which are all very beefy, strong and a solid feeling push in I have never had any issues at all. You have no chance of much movement on the rrp as very few retailers discount or carry stock of replacement chargers. You also don't get any choice of voltage / faster charge models unlike Bosch.
RRP £95.00 and I paid £90 from Certini Cycles inc 24hr p&p
