Todays ride is the first ride of the week! it was rather warm in places but overcast. The wind was blowing like a good'un again, see video clip of turbine making a canny racket (noise). It was a local ride of some old railway lines, country lanes and plenty of climbing. The roads are lines were nice and quiet with very little traffic. I can understand why riders would not enter the closed road sportive up here in County Durham, you more or less have the roads to yourself anyway, not to mention it was mega bucks to enter. On that note Velo29 have now set up their own event with three different distances on the same day and loads cheaper to enter. I will hopefully get out on my Thursday hike tomorrow then back out on the bike on Friday. Below are a few snaps and a video clip, enjoy and hopefully more soon -
