Yesterday we did not have anything planned apart from catching up with jobs around the house but I thought come on lets go out for the day. We drove up to the Toon and got parked up. Straight into Fenwick's and up to the top floor for full English breakfast's. You cannot fault the quality / quantity of the food and you get a hot or cold drink and toast £7.25 each. Then Jane popped into a few shops and we had a walk down to the quayside. It was busy down there and loads of stalls. We all had ice creams then over to the Baltic. After that is was a walk back along the quayside, back up the hill, a couple more shops then back to the car park. The toon emptied my pockets and more! but a canny family day out.
