Well it finally stopped raining before midnight and the winds died down so managed to get a well deserved local road ride on the Pilgrims today. The roads / back country lanes were in some mess with loads of flooding still and plenty of mud. The sun even came out for a brief period of time and was still cold.
Don't worry the weather is back to normal tonight with another 11hrs solid heavy rain due and 50+mph gales again.
Come on Mr Frost where are you at, we need overnight frosts and some winter sun to dry up all this crappy rain.
Back to the ride the roads were very quiet with very little traffic, only seen one other cyclist and one horse rider.
The bike was performing well with the full mudguards keeping the spray down to a minimum but the rear mech limit screw needs a 1/4 turn as its was struggling to drop down on the 11t, apart from that it was spot on.
Below are a few pics from the ride, more soon - enjoy
