Fresh Goods Sunday - Park Tool Chain Tool CT-4.3

I have had to buy another good quality chain tool as my spare one I keep in the van has broke after using it two times. It was a cheapo X Tools one from CRC but must have been made for butter. I have a Park Tool CT-3.1 chain tool at home and has never gone wrong in the past 25 years of use. There is a new version out now CT-3.2 and I had planned to buy that and put my old one in the van for emergencies but a good deal come up on the CT4.3 model. It is bigger & heavier than my old one and will hopefully last just as long.
Here is the blurb from Park Tool - Master Chain Tool with Peening Anvil
Specially designed to work with the tight tolerances and narrow profiles of 10- and 11-speed chains, but also works on all other derailleur chains, including the Shimano® CN-9000. The CT-4.3 is a powerful, precise tool designed to quickly and accurately remove and install chain rivets. Without a doubt the most accurate chain tool we’ve ever built!
  • Integrated Link Pocket ensures precise alignment
  • Replaceable, rotating pin
  • Perfectly contoured cushioned handles
  • Precisely machined investment cast body and components
  • Includes removable anvil to peen Campagnolo® 11-speed chains
Note: The CT-4.3 is NOT compatible with Wipperman® chains.
and here is a link to the website

The rrp is an eye watering £59.99 and not many shops discount them. To be honest the CT-3.2 (cheaper model) is more than good enough for any chain splitting /jointing jobs.
