I didn't manage to get a ride in yesterday, chokka at work then straight home to go straight back out again for the evening. Me & Angus nipped down to Durham so I could do some banking, expensive chips from the market place, quick walk up to the palace green / riverside then went to the gala to watch Mad Max. It was ok but not as good as the old ones and it was too long a film. No much wonder Durham County Council is going to sell the Gala off, there was only eight people watching the film and the place is looking well tired now, more staff than customers!
Today is my last day at work as I have booked in some holidays for next week as the kids are off, well Angus is off all the time now. Not going away just day trips and loads of jobs to do starting from tonight!
As for today I made time for a quick blast up the old railway line towards Delves Lane, turned and come back. When I left it was sunny and 18 degrees, got to Lanchester it was overcast, spotting rain and dropped to less than 15 degrees. Yet again I had a headwind nearly all the way out but by god the Super x didn't half fly on the way back. The lines are still bone dry / dusty and fast rolling but loads of people out again and fly's.
Tour Series is coming to Durham next Thursday RD5, more on that soon and so is a
