TDF 2014 - Yorkshire

If you didnt already know the TDF has been to North Yorkshire today. We were going to go down but decided to watch the whole Stage 1 live on the tv followed by a family bbq bash. The coverage at the start was poor with both the helicoper and motorbike coverage breaking up all the time but it got better. The views from the helicoper was fantastic which you cannot see when riding along the road. As you can see in the photo there was a fair old crowd on Buttertubs which stopped the race and again on Grinton Moor. Why spectators have to touch/push riders i just dont understand. Anyway it was a fantastic days racing apart from the crash at the end. The best part is i have ridden most of the roads they were on but they made it look alot easier!
