Second ride on the Beargrease today

The sun was still shinning early evening so hopped back on the Beargrease for a local spin out down & around Durham area. This time i took in some singletrack to bed the new wheels in and see how they perform. With the narrower rim when leaning into tight corners at speed you can feel the tyres rolling more on the rim but didnt manage to test them to the max as the singletrack sections were too short for this. As for the weather will it was the wind was still blowing a near gale at times and was hard going on my legs but the sun was still shinning most of the time. Durham and the river banks were busy with walkers, runners & cyclists but no boats on the river but the booze cruise boat was getting to ready to set sail. All in i got 30 miles in today so not bad considering. Weekend weather is looking like a complete and utter wash out so time to get somemore indoor jobs done and fix/fettle a few bikes. Below are a few photos from the evenings ride.
