Fresh Goods Sunday - Lightweight Rennbugel handlebars

I didn't intend to buy these bars but following on from the 3T stem it was the same problem with 3T bars. I had bought some 3T Ergosum Team Stealth 42cm bars - list weight 195g, actual weight 240g. Again these were to replace my old FSA 218g bars on the Nano Black. The only reason I am changing the FSA kit is the because of the red logos and the age of the items. There is no signs of any damage / fatigue etc but you never know.
So back to the Lightweight bars - I first seen these when we were on our hols in the Lakes earlier in the year at Push Cycles at Ambleside. There was no price tag on them but going by there wheel rrp they were going to be mega bucks. I wanted something light, strong and matt black with white / minimum logos and these fitted the bill. The rrp is £325 but a localish shop had a pair fitted on a display bike that could be removed and sold at a reduced price, that fitted my bill so a deal was done. They are 44cm centre to centre so the same width as my Zipp bars on my Bowman Pilgrims. The old FSA bars are 42cm so a little wider, more leverage up the hills of Co Durham! I like the shape of the drops and tops and are a real comfy bar. As for the weight - list 171g actual 176g on my scales and 170g on the shop scales. The finish on the bars is nearly the same as the nano and are a thing of shear beauty. I just hope they last as long as my FSA K Force bars.
