Like everything else fat bike related you have too wait along time before stuff hits the UK shores. I have been waiting a while for Maidson to show stock on these but they are finally here. When i looked in the bag and seen the size of them they are massive compaired to any normal bike storeage hook. They are solid construction and the wood thread is also larger diameter than normal. Easy to fit as i removed existing hooks and screwed these in place. If fitting into fresh timber etc i would drill a pilot hole first. I have tried several tyre / rims options and even the biggest 5" bud fits in with clearance on both sides. Thanks to Marky from Westbrook Cycles for sorting, fast and excellent service again. Rrp is £7.99 but if you ask nicley im sure they will sort you out a discount !
As the title says im off the bike after my surgery so pottering on with jobs that have been on the back burner for a while inc tinkering on in the man cave! Shame as the weather is still looking mainly dry with some nice frosts forecast as well. More soon
